Not sure which size to order?
For people looking for a stationary oxygen concentrator with a continuous oxygen flow between 0.5 and 5 liters per minute. It’s a reliable device, very suitable for people at home or in a nursing home.
The DeVilbiss 525 delivers a continuous flow of oxygen. Thanks to the flow meter with a knob, you can adjust the desired amount of oxygen between 0.5 and 5 liters per minute.
The oxygen concentrator is easy to use. The machine needs to be connected to mains electricity with the supplied power cord. Then press the on/off button and choose the desired amount of oxygen with the knob. The columns (molecular sieves) in the machine filter nitrogen from the ambient air, so that pure oxygen is delivered to the user. Accessories such as the nasal cannula and oxygen tubing can be ordered separately. At the bottom of this page, you can find a discount bundle with a 'Starter Kit for Oxygen Concentrators'.
The DeVilbiss 525 concentrator has a practical design. Thanks to the wheels and the handle, you can easily move the concentrator. The housing is made of fire resistant material and the device has been tested at high temperatures and high humidity. Furthermore, the cannula fitting is 'recessed' to protect it against bumps.
You’ll get 5 years warranty on the DeVilbiss 525. Good to know: this concentrator requires little maintenance! The manufacturer recommends cleaning the outside with a cloth or sponge once a week. Only use a mild cleaning agent.
As of October 2020, the DeVilbiss 525 doesn’t come with an air filter anymore (it’s no longer required). If you wish, you can order this filter separately: click here. Clean the air filter once a week with a vacuum cleaner or soapy water. Then rinse it under the tap and let it dry well. It’s recommended to replace the air filter at least twice a year.
