Both the design and the technology of the ResMed AirSense 11 are modern. This has certainly not gone unnoticed, because the device was awarded with the Good Design Award in 2022! Thanks to the Easy-Breathe motor, it’s a silent CPAP, which is very pleasant for you and your bed partner. The device also has an ambient light sensor. The brightness of the display automatically adjusts to the environment and turns off when it’s not in use. With the AirSense 11 AutoSet you can choose between an automatic or a fixed therapy pressure. The included SlimLine tubing is light and flexible for greater comfort.

Easy to use and useful functions

The AirSense 11 is easy to use. With the power button you can start and stop the therapy and with the touchscreen you can navigate through the menu. If you want to, you can use the SmartStart and/or the SmartStop function. With SmartStart, therapy starts automatically when you put on the mask. With SmartStop, therapy stops when you remove your mask.

You can also set a ramp. When you do so, the pressure starts low and builds up to the therapy pressure during the ramp time. For many CPAP users, this function will make it easier to fall asleep. The EPR function provides pressure relief during exhalation. With the AirSense 11, you can choose EPR during the entire therapy or just during the ramp time. Would you like to know whether your CPAP mask fits properly? Then perform a mask fit test with the device. Would you also like to know when you need to replace the mask, tubing or filter? Then set a 'reminder'! Then you’ll receive a notification when these parts need to be replaced.

Tracking your CPAP therapy progress

Once you’ve started CPAP therapy, it’s useful to track your therapy results yourself. This motivates you to continue and improve your therapy. You can view the results on the CPAP machine or in the myAir app. On the display of the AirSense 11, you can view the usage hours, the pressure, leaks and the AHI (Apnea Hypopnea Index).

MyAir app

The myAir app gives you access to much more information: your therapy results, instructional videos and other tips. You can download the free app from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store. MyAir works with Bluetooth and can be used on a smartphone. After each night, myAir gives you a score in the app (100 is the best score). This score is based on the usage hours, the mask seal, the number of events per hour (AHI) and the number of times you’ve put on and removed your mask. You can also download a therapy report. Your therapy results will be saved on the supplied SD card as well.

More comfort with a humidifier and a heated tube (optionally available)

The AirSense 11 AutoSet is supplied without a humidifier. You can optionally order the HumidAir 11 humidifier. The humidity level can be adjusted as desired. You can choose from 8 different levels. The heated tube ClimateLineAir 11 (optionally available) helps you to prevent condensation in the hose. If you start using the humidifier and the heated tube, you can benefit from 'Climate Control'. Climate Control adjusts the temperature and humidity level of the air you breathe in to the environment. This will make your CPAP therapy more comfortable! Traveling with the AirSense 11

The AirSense 11 comes with a luxury travel bag with a shoulder strap. This way you can safely take the machine and its accessories with you on a trip. Carry it by hand, over your shoulder or over the handle of your suitcase! The travel bag has several compartments and a loop for the CPAP tubing. There is also a special compartment for papers, for example. The machine meets the requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and can therefore be used on board of an aircraft.
