For whom is the Inogen One G5 suitable?

For all oxygen users looking for a powerful but lightweight portable oxygen concentrator. The Inogen One G5 has 6 flow settings, making it very powerful indeed.

High oxygen output

A big advantage of the Inogen One G5 is that it has 6 oxygen settings, 1 more than the Inogen One G3. Every setting compares to roughly 1 liter of oxygen per minute, making the G5 very powerful. You can easily set the concentrator to the appropriate setting by pressing the + and – buttons on the control panel.

Tip: Are you going to travel by plane? Then it is recommended – or even required – to bring with you one or more extra batteries on board.

Long battery run time

The unprecedented battery run time of the Inogen One G5 is its second strength. With the included 8 cell battery you can use the G5 concentrator for up to 6.5 hours without recharging. So you can confidently go out without worrying about time. The battery run time depends on the oxygen setting you use; the higher the setting, the shorter the run time.

Small and lightweight

The Inogen One G5 with 8 cell battery is very compact, only 18 cm long and 21 cm high. It weighs 2.2 kg including the battery, making it very easy to bring along. Easy to use

You can operate the Inogen One G5 easily with the control panel on top of the concentrator. The LCD display gives all the information you need about your oxygen therapy. The clear icons and large numbers show you your oxygen setting and the remaining battery life at a glance.

Energy efficient

This portable oxygen concentrator is very energy efficient. The 8 cell battery gives you up to 6,5 hours of autonomy without recharging. When the concentrator is connected to a power supply, you can use it and charge the battery simultaneously. You can plug in on the mains or a DC power output in your car, mobile home or boat, using the included AC power supply or DC cable. Optionally you can charge a spare battery using the Inogen One G5 external battery charger. This will come in handy when you’re preparing for a long trip.

Columns

The purifying of the oxygen takes place inside the columns (also called molecular sieves, or just sieves). For the Inogen One G5, Inogen has designed a brand new column housing, greatly improving their expected lifespan. Just as with the G3 and G4, you can easily replace them yourself. Whenever it’s time to do so, we are happy to help. There is a 1 year warranty on the columns. If they have to be replaced within this year, we will send new ones free of charge. Airplane

The Inogen One G5 is ‘FAA approved’, meaning it is allowed to take and use it on board an airplane. So you are assured of oxygen therapy anywhere, even when flying! There is a label on the back of the concentrator confirming the concentrator meets the demands of the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).

 

Warranty

There is a 3 year warranty on the Inogen One G5 concentrator. The columns and accessories come with a 1 year warranty.
