Different settings

The RC-Cornet PLUS from Cegla is an advanced breathing trainer, made in Germany. You can use it at 2 different settings by turning the mouthpiece. You can also set the pressure at 4 different levels. By training at setting 1 (STABILIZINGPEP^TM) you widen your airways, so you can breathe better and more freely. Setting 2 (MOBILIZINGPEP^TM) allows you to release stuck (bronchial) mucus and reduce chronic cough. We advise you to use the RC-Cornet PLUS three times a day for at least 2 minutes per setting, unless the doctor has instructed you otherwise. You can simply breathe in and out through the device – that’s all you need to do!

Better breathing thanks to wider airways

Better breathing is the most important goal of respiratory therapy and to achieve that, it is essential to widen your airways. The RC-Cornet PLUS has been specially designed for this. By regularly exhaling through this PEP device at setting 1, your airways will become wider thanks to the pressure that you produce during your training.

Training your nose and nasal cavity with the Cegla Nasal Set

Do you have problems with the nose and nasal cavity? Then the Cegla RC-Cornet PLUS Nasal offers a solution! This nasal version helps you to reduce stuck mucus in the nasal passages and to repair the mucous membranes. The RC-Cornet PLUS Nasal also relieves symptoms in chronic sinusitis, postnasal drip, bronchial hyperreactivity in asthma, middle ear problems and nasal spray addiction. Not sure whether you prefer to use the standard RC-Cornet PLUS or the RC-Cornet PLUS Nasal? No problem. The standard version can be expanded at a later date with the nasal set. You can also convert the standard version to the "nasal" version.

Nebuliser connection for extra comfort

Would you like to use a nebuliser simultaneously to inhale your medication? You can easily connect a nebuliser to the RC-Cornet PLUS. For some nebulisers you'll need the Cegla Nebuliser Kit. This saves you a lot of time every day, because you can simultaneously train your breathing and inhale your medication. Perfect for home use and for traveling. If you are going to nebulise, you should use the device at setting 1 while inhaling.

Mobilize secretions and reduce coughing

If you suffer from mucus and cough, you often become short of breath. The RC-Cornet PLUS allows you to release mucus and liquefy it. By using the device at setting 2, vibrations are produced in your airways. This allows you to cough up the mucus and complete your respiratory training by "huffing".

How to clean the RC-Cornet PLUS?

The RC-Cornet PLUS comes into contact with mucus, causing bacteria to enter the device. That is why it is important to clean the product regularly, also before the first use. We advise you to do this twice a week, preferably with the Cegla Microwave Cleaning Bag. This will eliminate germs and reduce the risk of infections. You can also boil the RC-Cornet PLUS.
