Different work modes of the BMC G3 B30VT

A BiPAP (BiLevel) machine provides you breathing support on two levels: during inspiration and during expiration. The BMC G3 B30VT has 4 work modes: S, T, S/T and CPAP.

- S: This mode responds to inhalation and exhalation. The pressure increases when you start to inhale and decreases when you start to exhale.

- T: In T mode, the G3 B30VT automatically starts inhalation and exhalation. The time of inhalation and exhalation is automatically controlled by the device, according to the preset parameter.

- S/T: The device responds to your inhalation and exhalation. It increases the pressure when you inhale and decreases the pressure when you exhale. If you don’t start inhaling within a certain amount of time, the G3 B30VT automatically starts the inhalation process. When the device starts the inhalation process, it controls the inhalation time and automatically decreases the exhalation pressure within the preset time.

- CPAP: In this work mode, the machine blows air into your airways at a fixed pressure.

Useful functions

To further optimise your treatment, the BMC G3 B30VT has a number of useful functions: the target tidal volume function, auto leak compensation and inspiratory time control.

- Target tidal volume function: The Tidal Volume feature allows the BiPAP to automatically adjust the pressure support level, in order to reach the preset tidal volume.

- Auto leak compensation: The G3 B30VT detects leakage during treatment in real time. The machine adjusts itself to ensure correct triggering.

- Inspiratory time control: It's possible to set Ti min and Ti max independently to prevent insufficient ventilation due to a short inspiratory time.

Mask fitting test

You can order a mask separately. Are you using your machine at a high pressure? Then we recommend a full face mask, for example Löwenstein Medical LENA. This mask (made in Germany) is also reliable when you use your BiPAP with big pressure differences or at a high pressure. On the BMC G3 B30VT, you can perform a mask fitting test to determine if your mask fits properly.

Therapy overview for more insight into your treatment

The BiPAP machine will save your therapy data on the SD card. On the display, you can view your therapy data in order to understand the results of your treatment (for example, from the last day, the past week, or the past year). You can download the free PAP Link app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store for a therapy report on your smartphone.

Humidifier and accessories included

The BMC G3 B30VT comes standard with a humidifier, hose, AC power supply, filters and a travel bag. A power cord locker is also included. Thanks to this locker, the power cord will always be connected to the machine. A heated hose, SpO2 kit and PM2.5 filter are also available in our online store, these products can be purchased separately. It’s possible to preheat the humidifier. Optionally, you can set an 'accessories reminder' on the device for replacing the accessories on time (the filter, for example).
