Lung Monitor Spirometer

|
For people with chronic lung diseases such as COPD, cystic fibrosis or people who have undergone a lung transplant.
The Vitalograph lung monitor is an advanced spirometer that measures important spirometry parameters (spirometry values). In addition to the FEV1 value and FEV6 value, the device also measures the FEV1 / FEV6 ratio. A major advantage of this digital spirometer is that it has an internal memory. This allows you to store up to 200 sessions and monitor your values over a longer period.
Product Video Lung Monitor
The lung monitor is easy to use. Before you start monitoring, you must set up your "Personal Best". Click the mouthpiece onto the spirometer and blow into the mouthpiece as hard as possible for 6 seconds. Repeat this twice. Your highest measured value and a percentage will be displayed on the screen. This percentage, which is stored in the internal memory, shows how the value relates to your Personal Best. The arrow marks the colour green, orange, yellow or red. Green means your FEV1 value is normal, orange and yellow indicate it is below normal and if it’s red your FEV1 is below 90% of your Personal Best.
Hygiene is very important, because the mouthpiece comes into contact with saliva. Clean the lung monitor at least once a week with a disinfectant wipe. First disassemble the different parts. The mouthpiece in particular needs to be thoroughly cleaned, but don’t forget the rest of the lung monitor! Put the spirometer in the supplied storage pouch until the next use.
