|
For asthma patients who want to monitor their lung condition.
The Asma-1 displays the most important spirometry values: the PEF (Peak Expiratory Flow) and FEV1 (Forced Expiratory Volume in 1 second). Exhale through the mouthpiece three times and read the values on the screen. The percentage indicates how high the PEF value and FEV1 value are in comparison to your Personal Best. This digital spirometer has an internal memory that stores up to 600 sessions. The device is portable and runs on batteries. It allows you to monitor your lung function anytime and anywhere. You do not need a memory card. 1 mouthpiece and 2 AAA batteries are included.

The design of the Asma-1 has been awarded the DBA Design Award. The device has a clear screen and is easy to operate with just a few buttons. Before monitoring, set your PEF Personal Best and FEV1 Personal Best. After exhaling through the mouthpiece, you can monitor your lung condition thanks to the four-colour system. The arrow on the left-hand side of the screen indicates the colour green, yellow, orange or red. The colour green indicates that you have blown normally.
Because the spirometer comes into contact with saliva, it is of great importance to thoroughly clean it at least once a week, especially the mouthpiece. Use a disinfectant wipe to prevent and eliminate germs. You can easily disassemble the different parts. After cleaning, store the Asma-1 in the supplied storage pouch.
