For whom is the ResMed ClimateLineAir Oxy Heated Tube suitable?
For users of a ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP or AirCurve 10 BiPAP machine in combination with an oxygen supply, who would like to prevent condensation in the CPAP hose. This product is therefore intended for people who use both CPAP/BiPAP therapy and oxygen therapy.
Why the ResMed ClimateLineAir Oxy Heated Tube?
Especially in winter, there is a greater difference in temperature between the air in the CPAP hose and the ambient air in the bedroom. If you have a humidifier, condensation can build up in the hose. Using a heated tube prevents condensation. In combination with the HumidAir 10 humidifier, the ClimateLineAir Oxy offers Climate Control. The heated tube has an integrated temperature sensor. Thanks to the 'Auto' Climate Control option, temperature and humidity levels are automatically adjusted to the environment. The manufacturer recommends replacing the ClimateLineAir Oxy after 6 months.
Connecting the ClimateLineAir Oxy
The ClimateLineAir Oxy has a connector for an oxygen tubing, so you no longer need an adapter! Read the user manual before using the heated tube. You can connect the ClimateLineAir Oxy directly to the AirSense 10 or AirCurve 10. Then remove the cap from the oxygen connector and connect an oxygen tubing to it. Make sure that the oxygen tubing is securely attached. The connector of the heated tube (the part you connect to the device) can rotate 360 degrees. This gives you more freedom of movement!
Please note: Use the ClimateLineAir Oxy only in combination with the ResMed HumidAir 10 humidifier. Don’t use a hose wrap with the ClimateLine Air Oxy and don’t use a hose brush for cleaning.
