This machine is compatible with the prismaAQUA humidifier, which you can order separately. The prisma SMART doesn’t have a connection for a heated hose (the prisma20A does). Easy to use, with a clear and simple display

The design of the prisma SMART is modern and ‘straightforward’. You can navigate through the menu with the buttons below the display. Also, you can easily set the softSTART (ramp) and softPAP (amount of pressure relief on exhalation) on the prisma SMART. You can also perform a mask test to determine whether the mask fits properly. With the mask test, you can reduce the risk of leaks during your CPAP therapy. And what about the autoSTART function? If you activate this function, therapy will start as soon as you put on your CPAP mask and will stop as soon as you take off your mask.

Consulting your therapy results

Unlike the more advanced prisma20A, it’s not possible to have an overview of the results of the previous night on the display. However, important data such as the AHI (Apnea-Hypopnea Index) and the number of leaks are saved on the SD card. You can consult an overview of your therapy results on the 'prisma JOURNAL' website.

Going on holiday with the prisma SMART

Are you going on holiday and will you stay in a place without electricity or with power outages? Then we recommend you to order a battery. The Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite battery is compatible with the prisma SMART. There are also options if you don’t have mains electricity on your holiday destination. Do you have a 12 volt connection? A 12 volt inverter (compatible with CPAP machines from Löwenstein Medical) is very useful if you would like to use your prisma SMART in the caravan, motorhome or on the boat!
