Kröber Air Intake Filter
The Kröber Air Intake Filter is an important part of your Kröber oxygen concentrator. It functions as a bacterial and viral filter (HEPA filter). The filter is placed under the service flap and is easy to replace by yourself.
The air intake filter has a life span of about 1 year, which corresponds to about 5000 hours of use. If the concentrator is used by another patient, the filter must also be replaced. In a polluted atmosphere, the filter must be replaced more often than annually. You won’t see a notification on the screen when the filter needs to be replaced. That’s why we recommend to check this periodically. The filter needs to be replaced when it’s grey or black.
How to replace the Air Intake Filter?
- Open the service flap.
- Take the old air intake off with a slight twist and remove it from the filter holder.
- Install a new filter.
- Close the service flap.
