Just like the other Inogen portable concentrators, the Inogen Rove 6 works on pulse flow. Thanks to this technology, the machine delivers oxygen when you inhale. An efficient way of oxygen therapy! The Rove 6 has 6 oxygen settings. Each setting is roughly equivalent to 1 liter of oxygen per minute.

A long battery run time up to 13 hours

In addition to the number of oxygen settings, the long battery run time of this model is a plus. With the large (16 cell) battery you can use oxygen therapy for almost 13 hours. So you can go outside for a longer period of time! The device can also be used on electricity, for example at home or in a nursing home. Below you’ll find an overview of the battery run time per flow setting. The lower the flow setting, the longer the battery time:

A small and lightweight oxygen concentrator

The Inogen Rove 6 has a small size: the device is only 23 cm high and 18 cm long. Even with the large battery, this portable concentrator weighs only 2.6 kg. Ideal for oxygen on the go! A luxury carry bag with shoulder strap is standard included. The bag has protective pads for optimum protection of your device. An Inogen Rove 6 backpack is available separately. The Inogen Rove 6 still has all the positive characteristics of the Inogen One G5, with a number of improvements. For example, the buttons are bright blue, making it even easier to use the device. The cannula barb is ribbed for a better connection of the nasal cannula! Have you used the G5 oxygen concentrator before? Then you can also use accessories such as the battery and external battery charger with the Rove 6. The G5 accessories are compatible with the Rove 6.

Tip: Are you going to travel by plane? Often, you’ll need to take one or more (extra) batteries with you for during the flight.

The function and lifespan of the columns

The columns (also called "molecular sieves") filter nitrogen from the ambient air and allow the concentrator to deliver pure oxygen. Over time, the columns will need to be replaced. The lifespan of the columns depends on various factors. It’s impossible to predict their lifespan exactly. We recommend you to use the concentrator on a regular basis for an optimal lifespan of the columns. The good news is that you get a 1-year warranty on the columns. If the concentrator indicates within 1 year that the columns need to be replaced, they can usually be replaced under warranty. You can easily replace the columns yourself.

Traveling by airplane with your Inogen Rove 6

You can also use the Inogen Rove 6 on board of an airplane. The concentrator is 'FAA approved', which means that it is officially approved for use on board of an airplane. Please contact your airline in advance, because airlines have different rules for using an oxygen concentrator on board. Have a good flight!
