What is an IMT respiratory muscle trainer?
The Orygen Inspiratory Valve is an IMT respiratory muscle trainer for improving your breathing strength and efficiency. IMT is short for Inspiratory Muscle Trainer. An IMT trainer allows you to train your inspiratory muscles. You set it to a resistance that suits your situation. During the exercise, you breathe through the mouthpiece while wearing a nose clip.
Resistance easily adjustable
At the bottom of the Orygen Inspiratory Valve is a wheel that allows you to adjust the inspiratory resistance. You adjust the resistance by turning the wheel until the arrow indicates the desired value. The resistance is adjustable between 0 and 70 cm H2O, with intervals of 10 cm H2O.
