The compactness of this humidifier bottle is a big advantage. You can fill it with 140 ml: exactly enough for 24 hours of oxygen therapy at 4 liters per minute. If you use a stationary concentrator with continuous flow, the air is constantly blown into your nose. This can eventually cause your nose to dry out and becoming irritated, especially if you use oxygen at a high setting (liter per minute). Humidification is a real solution that will make your oxygen therapy a lot more pleasant.

By filling a humidifier with sterile water and connecting it to your oxygen concentrator, the air becomes more humid and your nose will no longer dry out. The air will pass through the water in the humidifier before reaching your nasal cannula.
